Achievements in Law School
Eric earned a juris doctor (JD) degree from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. He distinguished himself at Duquesne, and took every opportunity while he was there to become immersed in criminal law and civil rights litigation matters.
Eric served on the Executive Board of Duquesne's Law Review, and took internships at both the Allegheny County Public Defender's Office and the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel, where he acquired practical experience in fighting for the rights of indigent criminal defendants.
Eric also participated in and helped manage Duquesne Law School's Civil Rights Clinic, which offers free legal help to individuals who suffer racial, age, gender, and other forms of discrimination at the hands of employers.
Experience in the Legal Field
After graduating from law school, Eric accepted a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Judge Mark Stevens in the Crawford County Court of Common Pleas. Eric assisted Judge Stevens in that capacity by performing in-depth legal research and writing on both civil and criminal matters. He carries over his valuable experience working directly under a Judge into his current practice at Krasner & Long.
Eric is currently an associate at Krasner & Long, where his passion for fighting for our clients makes him a valuable asset to our team. His focus on criminal defense and related matters stems from a genuine commitment to the preservation of the rights afforded to all citizens by the Constitution of the United States. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in federal court.
