Liam J. Riley is a trial attorney with Krasner & Long. He graduated from St. Joseph's University (B.A.) and Temple University Beasley School of Law (J.D.) In law school, he received the Gideon Award and was named a Rubin Public Interest Associate because of his commitment to indigent defense and public service.
He also worked as a research assistant for the American Civil Liberties Union and served as a board member of the National Lawyers' Guild. Before joining the firm, he was a Major Trials Attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

As a Philadelphia criminal defense attorney, Mr. Riley has secured countless acquittals in trials before juries and judges in the Philadelphia courts. He has extensive experience in defending clients who have been prosecuted under the Indicting Grand Jury and as part of the Focused Deterrence Program, as well as in defending those with mental health issues.
He has won cases involving allegations of attempted murder, rape, child sexual abuse, burglary, armed robbery, drug and weapons offenses, among others. Mr. Riley has also been successful in securing his clients' release and the withdrawal of charges before trial due to the fact that his client had been misidentified and was innocent. He is similarly experienced in defending clients in post-trial probationary hearings.
